As its name suggests, Difaf (meaning “shores”) serves as a meeting point between the art scenes of these two cities, deeply interconnected through time and occupying a pivotal role in our region’s creative movement.

Difaf builds on the expertise of Plan BEY, its partner in Beirut and artisan-publisher with over 15 years of experience in design, printing, and publishing.

Moulded by the region’s layered cultures and histories, Difaf documents the radical and continuous transformations of Cairo and Beirut.
